Elmtree have experience in looking after the grounds of various schools, academies, hospitals to ensure service users have surroundings that they can enjoy whilst learning or recovering. Gardening has been demonstrated to be very therapeutic, both the activity as well as viewing gardens and green space. The colour green has particular impact on humans, so views from windows for school children and patients are important for healthy learning and speeding up recovery. There are many more reasons for taking good care of the grounds. Presenting a neglected site is not likely to inspire confidence. For this reason we have a passion for ensuring all outside areas are kept to the very best quality and look as welcoming as possible.

Working for the education and health sectors can provide a different set of challenges that we are very equipped to deal with and have plenty of experience with. The very nature of these grounds implies that the site is live and busy at all times. We like to ensure where possible that the least disruption to normal service is caused and we do this by being flexible with timescales to fit around opening times and around service users. We also where possible plan major works for schools during holidays.

It is imperative for us that all our staff visiting site are DBS checked and in full uniform. We have health and safety processes that are in place and each and every team member signs in and out of site with every visit.
